Library
An exclusive consumer and public interest library at CERC is great information resource for consumers and public at large.
It has approximately 15,000 books including bound volumes and around 100 periodicals from all over the world.
Books, magazines, encyclopedias, yearbooks, dictionaries- general, legal, investor related, directories of NGOs and government organizations in India and abroad, law journals, court judgments, standards and bare acts, newspaper clippings, audio visuals – you name it and the library has it.
It covers various topics related to consumer protection, promotion, and research, environment, insurance, health, drugs, housing, advertising, human rights, etc. Being an exclusive consumer library, it also serves as an Information Resource Centre for the Gujarat State.
Raja Mohan Roy Library Foundation has recognized the CERC library as Library of National Importance. CERC is a member of Consumers International Consumers Information Network (COINET), a network of consumer libraries working together to promote, share and exchange experiences and resources in consumer documentation.

The library is open to all. You can walk into the library from Mon to Fri, 10 am -5.30 pm. You can also contact us on – library@cercindia.org.
