Ganesh Housing reneges on promise

Unfair play

cm1

Ganesh Housing Co. Ltd. had promised to reimburse the maintenance charges of Rs. 45 lakh to Maple County-2 at the time of handing over the society to the initial committee of the owners. However, it illegally retained the amount even after the handover. Bharat Vaghasia had been pursuing Ganesh Housing to resolve this matter but despite numerous requests, the committee did not receive the maintenance amount. He approached CERS for help.

With relentless efforts and continuous follow up by CERS, the committee finally received the full amount promised by Ganesh Housing.

Justice, at last

Tips

  • While trying to settle a dispute with the developer, the homebuyer should keep a record of all communication in writing.
  • If other buyers in the same project have similar problems, they should take up the issue as a group.
  • For redressal of grievances, they can approach RERA which is supposed to settle cases in 60 days.
