Academy reimburses fees for cancelled admission

 No show course

CM1

After retirement, Kirti Kumar Sheth took admission in Online Trading Academy, a part of Sharekhan.com, for a basic course in trading by paying fees of Rs. 1.25 lakhs. The course did not begin as per schedule and there was no communication from the academy either. So, Kirti decided to opt out and asked for a full refund of the fees. He continuously contacted the academy for a refund, but there was no positive response. Kirti approached Consumer Education and Research Society (CERS) for help in getting his rightful money back.

CERS immediately wrote to the company for a refund of the fees. The constant follow-up and phone calls resulted in Kirti receiving his full fee reimbursed within a week. “I am grateful to CERS for swiftly taking action and vigorously following up with the academy which helped me in getting a refund. ‘Thanks’ may probably not be enough to express my profound gratitude for the timely help and guidance.”
