Drinking hot beverages may increase the risk of cancer

Researchers have known about the link between drinking hot tea and risk of oesophagus cancer but there was no information, until now, regarding how hot is too hot. A new study has concluded that People who drink more than 700ml of tea every day at 60OC or more are at doubled the risk of cancer than people who prefer cooler tea. The study on 50,045 individuals aged 40 to 75 years for 10 years was reported in International Journal of Cancer.
