Regarding the notification that FSSAI has issued with immediate effect mandating all FBOs to remove any claim of “100% Fruit Juice” from the labels and advertisements of the same. Also, they have been instructed to exhaust all existing pre-printed materials before 1st Sept.
If added sweeteners exceed 15gm/ kg, then the product must be labelled as ” Sweetened Juice” and the word ” Reconstituted” must be mentioned against the name of the Juice that is reconstituted from pulp/ concentrate.
