A Consumer’s Fight for Quality and Justice

On 25th January 2025, Mr. Amitbhai J. Vyas purchased a Bosch refrigerator, trusting the brand’s reputation for quality. But his excitement soon turned into frustration—the vegetable tray constantly remained wet, making the product unusable. Hoping for a quick solution, he reached out to the service center multiple times. Instead of support, he was met with delays and silence.

Feeling ignored and helpless, Mr. Vyas approached the Consumer Education and Research Society (CERS), Ahmedabad. Known for defending consumer rights through complaints handling, advocacy, and legal intervention, CERS stepped in to demand accountability from the company.

Through persistent efforts, the matter was finally resolved. Mr. Vyas received a full refund of ₹84,000, restoring both his trust and his dignity as a consumer.
