An incisive, cross-functional, high performance and dynamic professional, Ms.Anindita Mehta has over 33 years’ experience in various domains of Academics, Research & Training, Sustainability, Food & Nutrition, Product Safety & Health. She holds a Master’s Degree and Senior Research Fellowship in Biochemistry.

Currently she holds the position of CEO, CERC (Consumer Education & Research Centre, India), as well as Council Member & Board Trustee of Consumer International, CI, UK, which is the membership organization of 200 member organizations worldwide. She is on the Chair’s Advisory Board of ISO, Geneva and Asia Consumer Standards, S. Korea.

Additionally, she is the Coordinator EIACP – MoEF&CC (Ministry of Environment, Forests& Climate Change, Govt. of India), She is on the Steering Committee of Ecolabels Rules, Govt of India, Board Member St. Xaviers College, & Association of Chemical Technologists of India (ACTI). She has been appointed on the Governing Board of BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards). Prior to joining CERC, she was Lecturer at St. Xaviers College, and Senior Scientist at a reputed Research organisation (ATIRA).

Rupak Raval is the Chief General Manager (CGM) at CERC. He joined the organization in 1987 as an accountant and has steadily progressed to lead key functions across Finance, HR, IT, and Administration. In addition, he oversees CERS, ensuring smooth operations and effective management. With decades of experience, Rupak plays a crucial role in supporting CERC’s organizational and operational excellence.

Shweta Mahajan is the Chief General Manager at CERC, leading initiatives that promote sustainable living and consumer empowerment. She oversees home energy audits, green skilling programs, and awareness campaigns for students, interns, and senior citizens. She manages product guidance through Grahak Sathi and conducts on-site electricity meter accuracy testing to help households improve energy efficiency. Shweta also contributes to BIS standard-making and represents CERC before government bodies on quality control of mass-consumption products.

Anusha Iyer is Deputy General Manager – Advocacy and Associate Editor (Grahak Sathi) at CERC. She holds an MBA in Marketing and has been with CERC since 2011, contributing extensively to publications, advocacy, and consumer awareness programs. Anusha played a key role in CERC’s inputs to the Consumer Protection Act 2019 and has led initiatives on misleading advertisements, including a government-awarded study project. She also coordinates the Greenmosphere Project, engaging students in energy conservation and sustainable practices. Passionate about youth engagement, she mentors interns from diverse fields, fostering the next generation of consumer advocates.

Ms. Meghavi Joshi is Manager (Projects, Mediation & Counselling) at CERC. She holds an MBA in Human Resources and has over 19 years of experience in consumer protection, grievance redressal, project management, and capacity building. Meghavi leads the Consumer Helpline and oversees Consumer Advice Centers across Gujarat. She also coordinates Consumer Clubs in schools and colleges, engaging youth in awareness programs. Her expertise includes mediation, complaint resolution, outreach initiatives, and collaboration with government and NGOs.

Adv. Devendrasinh Ganapatsinh Rana is Head of the Legal Department at CERC. With over 15 years of legal experience, he specializes in consumer protection, insurance disputes, and financial services law, practicing before the High Court of Gujarat, Consumer Commissions, and Debt Recovery Tribunal. He joined CERC in 2018, initially as a panel advocate, and now leads strategic legal initiatives, represents consumers in complex disputes, and oversees advocacy for fair market practices and consumer rights. His work strengthens consumer justice and ensures accessible redressal mechanisms across India.

Dr. Neel Rajendrakumar Talati is an Environmental Scientist and Programme Officer at CERC–EIACP PC RP. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science with expertise in wetlands, biodiversity, and wildlife conservation, and has contributed to national projects on crocodiles, tigers, elephants, and more. He also leads education and field programs promoting sustainable human–wildlife coexistence.
